Criminal Background Check FAQ's

All information received in the background investigation process will be maintained by Triton in confidential, secured files, with restricted access to only those who need to know. Learn more about our privacy policy.

Triton works closely with the RCMP and local police departments across the country. This allows us to search confidently through RCMP database for criminal records and background checks.

Our easy-to-use background check system makes the process smooth and efficient, allowing us to deliver results to you within 15 minutes.

The Criminal Background Check offered by Triton does not include Vulnerable Sector Information. The RCMP policy states that a Vulnerable Sector Check must be conducted by your local police service.

You may need a Vulnerable Sector Check if you intend to work or volunteer with vulnerable people. This includes, but is not limited to, teachers, social workers, nurses and more.
