Great news for private security and investigative companies. The Private Security and Investigative Services Branch (PSISB) of the Ontario Government just announced that a CRJMC (Criminal Record Check with Judicial Matters Check) used for licensing can now be obtained by a third party.

A CRJMC is a level 2 police check that checks both criminal history and judicial matters. Historically, your personnel have had to obtain this check at the police station. While this type of police check has always been available on the Triton platform, until now a CRJMC being used for licensing security and investigative personnel could not be obtained through a third party and this is what has changed.
